Conor McGregor thinks a fight between him and Floyd Mayweather has the potential to be the most valuable fight in history.
The UFC's interim featherweight champion has previously been vocal about his belief that he'd dominate Mayweather if the two ever fought, and now, McGregor has turned to talking about the one thing that could bait Floyd into the Octagon—money.
In an interview with The Guardian, McGregor said this superfight could make even more money than the Mayweather/Pacquaio fight did:
In McGregor's defense, this would be a huge fight, but it's just never going to happen. Mayweather is almost ready for retirement and just announced a heavily-criticized farewell fight against Andre Berto. The pound-for-pound king has kept his undefeated record intact by refusing to take uncalculated gambles—and that's exactly what stepping into the Octagon would be for him or any other boxer.
