Blank pixel used during image takedowns
Prior to Saturday night's preseason matchup between the Cleveland Browns and St. Louis Rams, Twitter user @SquareKnight made the incredibly bold declaration that he'd buy drink for everyone in the world—forever!—if Michael Sam capped off a sack of Johnny Manziel with the money sign.
As fate would have it, Sam beat a Browns offensive lineman in the second half, tackled Manziel in the backfield, and—as forecasted—capped it all off with the money sign. Predictably, @SquareKnight began backpedaling harder than Richard Sherman covering a go route.
The story could've ended here, with another broke boy folding on a Twitter bet because he can't even afford to get the whole world drunk—forever. Lucky for @SquareKnight though, Michael Sam offered the Twitter user a dignified escape plan.
Sure, @SquareKnight, Michael Sam might give you a pass, but I'm not. You can start making good on your bet by sending a case of Henny to the Complex office post haste!
