Wale remembers what happened. So when he was asked about the idea of KD signing with the Wizards in the summer of 2016 during an appearance on ESPN's His & Hers today, he refused to take the bait.
"I'm an employee of the Washington Wizards," said Wale, who serves as the "Creative Liaison" for the team. "I can't speak on that...I'm not going to get my organization fined."
Well played, Wale. Way to duck that fine!
