The Miami Dolphins have dealt with a series of scandals involving their offensive line in recent seasons. From the controversial bullying scandal involving Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin back in 2013 to a wild weed scandal involving their 2016 draft pick Laremy Tunsil, Dolphins offensive linemen have made headlines for doing all kinds of crazy things over the last five years. And now, it appears as though the Dolphins are going to be at the center of yet another scandal thanks to a NSFW video that features their offensive line coach Chris Foerster.
In the video, which surfaced on social media late Sunday night, Foerster can be seen snorting lines of white powder off a desk with a $20 bill. A woman named Kijuana Nige—who is reportedly an exotic dancer from Las Vegas, according to the New York Daily News—first posted the video on Facebook and claimed Foerster sent it to her while "professing his love" for her.
"Hey babe, miss you, thinking about you. How about me going to a meeting and doing this before I go?" Foerster said in the video, before snorting the first line and moving on to a second one. "What do you think, I’m crazy? It’ll be awhile before we can do this again. Because I know you have to keep that baby. But I think about you when I do it. I think about how much I miss you. How high we got together. How much fun it was."
Foerster then proceeded to snort a third line. You can watch the video below, though we should warn you, again, that it is obviously NSFW.
Foerster initially declined to comment on the video, but on Monday morning, he resigned from the Dolphins coaching staff and released a statement about the clip. He said he plans to get "help" for a problem without discussing specifics.
"I am resigning from my position with the Miami Dolphins and accept full responsibility for my actions," Foerster said in his statement, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. "I want to apologize to the organization and my sole focus is on getting the help that I need with the support of my family and medical professionals."
Foerster has spent 24 seasons in the NFL and coached with eight different teams. According to ESPN, he is one of the highest-paid NFL assistant coaches in the league this season, making between $2.5 and $3 million annually.
