When Taj Gibson got ejected from Game 2 of the Bulls/Heat playoff series on Thursday night, he was upset. Like, really, really upset. So upset that some people thought he might be suspended for Game 3 of the series. Fortunately for the Bulls, Gibson wasn't suspended from tonight's game. But he was just given a $25,000 fine from the league for verbally abusing an NBA official. Or, one dollar for every curse word he managed to yell before he left the court after getting ejected!
Er, okay. So our math is probably a little off on that. But $25K is no joke. We bet Gibson will leave the court quietly the next time this happens.
