Steph Curry Wants to Take Michael Jordan's GOAT Title: “Why Else Would I Be Playing?”

Late yesterday, we told you about how Steph Curry talked to ESPN The Magazine about the new automated toilet that his wife Ayesha bought him last month. He believes it has helped him play better and, as we found after crunching some numbers, he’s right!

That’s not all he talked to ESPN The Mag about, though. They released their full Curry Q&A earlier today and, in it, he talks at length about why the Warriors are going to be damn-near impossible for most teams to stop this season. He also talked about his own development as a player and, towards the end of the interview, he let it be known that, while it won’t be easy, he’s coming for Michael Jordan’s GOAT title. Here is what he had to say about trying to become a better player than MJ was:

Curry obviously still has a ways to go. But if he keeps playing like he has been playing so far this season—and more importantly, if he keeps on using that toilet!—who knows?
