Have scientists invented a time machine yet that allows people to go back and re-do certain parts of their lives? If so, could those scientists please get in touch with Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice immediately and help him out?
Last weekend, Rice and his fiancée Janay Palmer were allegedly involved in an altercation inside of the Revel Atlantic City hotel and casino in Atlantic City, N.J. Words were allegedly exchanged, punches were reportedly thrown, and a surveillance camera caught Rice dragging Palmer out of an elevator inside of the hotel. It was, well, bad. So bad that it could theoretically end with Rice getting reprimanded by both the Ravens and the league in addition to the police. So if anyone has access to a time machine, give Ray Rice a call. PLEASE!
Rice isn't the only sports-related person who could use a time machine right now, either. His week definitely sucked more than most other peoples' weeks. But the last seven days have been hell for a bunch of other sports-related people out there, too. Stack—a forward for the U.S. women's Olympic hockey team—came thisclose to clinching a gold medal for the Americans in the 2014 Winter Olympics. With the U.S. up 2-1 and a little more than a minute remaining in the gold-medal game against Canada, Stack took a shot at an empty net but hit the post. The Canadians scored 20 seconds later to tie the game and went on to win the game 3-2 in overtime. Now, Stack is going to spend a lot of time over the course of the next four years wondering, "What if…?"

Richie Incognito, John Jerry, and Mike Pouncey stand accused of bullying Jonathan Martin and several of their other Dolphins teammates in 2013. But Turner ultimately had to take the fall for the Dolphins. He reportedly allowed the bullying to take place—and, at times, even took part in it—so Miami fired him on Wednesday. They also fired head trainer Kevin O'Neill, who reportedly allowed Incognito, Jerry, and Pouncey to bully one of the team's associate trainers.

Last weekend, Rice and his fiancée Janay Palmer allegedly got into an altercation at the Revel Atlantic City hotel and casino in Atlantic City, N.J. Initially, Rice's camp said that the altercation was "minor." But later in the week, a surveillance video that appeared to show Rice dragging Palmer out of an elevator inside Revel surfaced. And then, local police charged Rice with assaulting Palmer. They also charged Palmer with assault for hitting Rice. But if the allegations against him turn out to be true, Rice could be in some serious trouble.
Johnny "TV Johnny" Dang

Prior to last Sunday's NBA All-Star Game, TV Johnny—Paul Wall's business partner—held a promotion at his Houston-based jewelry store. He said that anyone who bought a watch from his store before the game would automatically get a refund if the Eastern Conference beat the Western Conference. And a a result of the promotion, he sold 37 watches worth about $200,000 total. But unfortunately for him, the Western Conference went on to blow a huge lead in the All-Star Game, eventually losing to the Eastern Conference and costing TV Johnny a fortune.
He's gone on the record and said that it "was worth taking a chance for the people who have been loyal to me over the years." But still, $200K is a lot of money to lose.

On Wednesday, the Redskins tight end was suspended indefinitely for violating the league's substance abuse policy. So what did he do to redeem himself? Well, he turned around and got pulled over the very next day in Virginia—at 3:45 in the afternoon!—and was arrested and charged with DUI. So something tells us that "indefinitely" is going to be changed to "forever" in the near future, especially since Davis is set to become a free agent soon.

The Japanese skier won't be leaving the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi with a gold medal. Instead, he'll be leaving with a broken arm, courtesy of a nasty spill that he took during the nordic combined event at the Olympics. Kato was completing a jump during the event when one of his skis came loose during his landing and he lost his balance and fell. Ouch.

This is just getting ridiculous now. The former NFL cornerback is already facing rape allegations in California, Nevada, Louisiana, and Arizona. And this week, yet another woman came forward and revealed that she had been sexual assaulted by Sharper. She claims she saw all of the recent news coverage surrounding him and recognized him as the man who allegedly sexually assaulted her in Miami. Things just continue to get worse and worse for Sharper.

Anytime you almost get your head knocked off by a baseball bat, you know it's not your week. And that's exactly what nearly happened to Alvarez—a pitcher for the Villa Clara team in Cuba—when pposing player Demis Valdes charged the mound after some chin music and took a swing at his head with a bat. Had he connected, Alvarez might be dead right now.

A few days ago, Granger was on a team that has been projected by some people to reach the 2014 NBA Finals. Today, he's on a team that will be lucky to win more than five games between now and the rest of the season. Sucks to be him!
