The next step in Tony Gonzalez's career took off with his new job. CBS has announced that the shoe-in for the Hall of Fame has joined the NFL Today Show. As part of the same announcement, it was announced that Dan Marino and Shannon Sharpe will no longer appear on the show. The new cast of the show will be James Brown, Bill Cowher, Boomer Esiason and Gonzalez.
Sharpe will forever be missed for his marble-mouthed banter.
