LeBron James scored 39 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, dished out 11 assists, and pretty much single-handedly willed the Cavaliers to a 95-93 overtime win against the Warriors in Game 2 of the 2015 NBA Finals last night. It was an absolutely masterful performance by LeBron and proved, once again, why he's the best basketball player in the world right now. So surely—surely—there's no way that LeBron haters like Skip Bayless could rain on LeBron's parade today, right? RIGHT?
LOL. Riiiiiiight. Except that Skip is seemingly going out of his way to discredit LBJ. He actually started very early this morning, a short time after Game 2 ended, by taking to Twitter to argue that Matthew Dellavedova, not LeBron, was the star of Game 2:
And on ESPN First Take, he has taken his hatred for LeBron to an even lower low. In spite of what LeBron did last night, Skip just said that he still thinks Dellavedova and his excellent defense against Steph Curry won the game for Cleveland. And as if that wasn't bad enough, he also said that he has to give LeBron a C+ grade for his performance because [insert a bunch of BS here about how LeBron made one or two plays last night that—gasp!—weren't perfect].
We know, we know, we know, we know, we know, we know, we know, we know, we know! Skip does this on purpose and we should all just ignore him and hope he goes away and blah blah blah. But…A C-PLUS?!?
