Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and the Bulls went 72-10 during the 1995-96 NBA season. Their 72 wins were the most in regular season history. And that Bulls team is widely considered to be one of the best NBA teams ever.
So when Pippen held an impromptu Q&A on Twitter earlier this afternoon—just one day after his daughter got arrested in Iowa for allegedly peeing on the floor in a hotel lobby—someone asked Pippen how many games he thinks that '95-96 team would win if they played in the NBA today. And he replied by saying that he believes they would have been even more successful now than they were back then:
75 games?! 75 games. That means that, according to Pippen, the Bulls would go 75-7 (!) if they played in the NBA today. Are you buying that?
