Back in January, Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman made a name for himself—and made plenty of headlines—by doing a live interview with Erin Andrews after the 2014 NFC Championship Game and calling out 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree. He referred to Crabtree as "sorry" and didn't hold back when he was asked his opinion on him. And now, the outspoken star is calling out yet another wide receiver after shutting him down on the field.
Last night, Sherman held Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garçon to just two catches and 23 yards receiving. And when Sherman was asked about him after the game, he didn't have anything nice to say about him.
"Pierre doesn't matter in this league," he said, before being asked to clarify his thoughts on Garçon. "I mean exactly what I said."
Sherman also ripped Garçon for pulling his hair on one play last night in an effort to try and get open.

"Pierre did a few things," he said. "When you can't get open, you got to do whatever you can. The crowd is acting like I'm holding him. Obviously, the TV copy you can see what happened."
And while Sherman did have some nice things to say about Garçon's fellow Washington WR DeSean Jackson—"He's a Pro Bowl receiver," he said of Jackson, who torched the Seahawks for five catches, 157 receiving yards, and one touchdown last night—it's clear that he's not a big fan of Garçon.
Garçon is yet to respond to Sherman.
