Gallery: Pro Athletes Posing With Wrestling Title Belts

Last night, Athletics slugger Yoenis Cespedes won his second straight MLB Home Run Derby. And to celebrate his victory, he did what all great champions do. Or at least, what all great WWE champions do. He held up a wrestling title belt to prove that he is, in fact, the best at what he does.

He's far from the first pro athlete to use a wrestling title belt during a celebration, though. Over the course of the last decade or so, there have actually been quite a few pro athletes who have been spotted with them. But earlier this year when Mulligan was playing tight end for the Patriots (he's now with the Bears), he ordered something off Hulk Hogan's website to display in the New England locker room. And the Hulkster responded by creating a video in support of the Pats—and giving Mulligan a special shout-out in it. "He was smart enough to order a piece of Hulk Hogan to put in the Patriots locker room, brother," Hogan said in the clip. "That means, you have an extra edge…So Mully, shout to you!"
