Although he wasn't selected in the 2010 NFL Draft, former BYU quarterback Max Hall was signed by the Cardinals in 2010 and looked like he might have a pretty promising NFL career. At one point during the 2010-11 NFL season, it even looked like Hall might be the future of the franchise at the quarterback position. But since being released by the team in 2011, his football career, which ended up taking him to the CFL last season, has sputtered. And he's been having some issues off the field as well.

Most recently, Hall—who currently serves as the offensive coordinator at Gilbert High School in Gilbert, Ariz.—was arrested at a Best Buy in Gilbert after several of the store's employees witnessed him taking electronics out of their packages and stuffing them into a bookbag that he was wearing. The police were called and, when they searched Hall's bag, they found almost $300 worth of stolen items. They also found a small amount of cocaine, two hypodermic needles, a metal spoon, a lighter, and a white plastic pill bottle. So Hall was arrested and charged with shoplifting and narcotics possession. And as if all of that wasn't bad enough, Hall was then forced to take a mugshot while wearing the BYU T-shirt that he had on when he was arrested.

Hall hasn't been fired from his position at Gilbert High just yet. But the Gilbert school district has already come out and said that they're looking into the incident involving Hall and trying to decide what to do next. And if they do decide to release him, it could mean the end of his football career. Stay tuned for additional details about his arrest.
