The Knicks Have Reportedly Fired Head Coach Derek Fisher

Derek Fisher is no longer the coach of the Knicks.

The Knicks have lost nine of their last ten games and are currently on a five-game losing streak. They’re in 12th in the Eastern Conference playoff race and looking for a spark right now to help turn their season around. And it sounds like they’ve decided to try and jump-start things by firing their head coach Derek Fisher. ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne dropped the bombshell on Twitter a short time ago:

The Knicks have fired Derek Fisher, sources told ESPN.

At this time, the Knicks have not confirmed Fisher’s firing, but sources have told ESPN that Kurt Rambis will be the team’s interim coach:
