Did we step into a time machine or something last night? Yes, right? Because surely—surely!—we didn't see Jermaine O'Neal dropping 18 points and grabbing 8 rebounds for the Warriors in a game in 2013, right? Er, right?!

No, our eyes didn't deceive us. Despite the fact that O'Neal has suffered from a multitude of injuries so far this season—everything from his groin to his wrist is bothering him right now—O'Neal came up big for Golden State in a 102-101 win over the Pelicans last night. And following the game, he tried to explain how he was able to do it in a postgame interview that was easily the best postgame interview we've seen in a long time. O'Neal probably doesn't have a whole lot of other 18/8 games left in him. But for one night, he played like it was 2003 again. And then, in his postgame interview, he proved why he's a valuable member of the Warriors, regardless of whether or not he's able to play like that again.

Check out the clip above to hear O'Neal talk about his big night. We promise you'll be ready to make the most of your day after watching it.
