Earlier this year, ESPN recruiting analyst Gerry Hamilton accidentally copy and pasted a Pornhub link into a tweet that he sent out about a college football player. It was super embarrassing for him, and we imagine it earned him a trip to his boss' office. But unfortunately, it didn't prevent one of his fellow reporters from making the same exact mistake today.
Earlier this afternoon, Adam Beasley—a Dolphins beat writer for the Miami Herald—tried to promote a piece written by one of his colleagues on Twitter. He gave his colleague props for "killing it out at the [NFL] owners meetings" and then linked to his story. At least, that's what he tried to do. But instead of copy and pasting a link to the latest NFL news, he copy and pasted a link for a Casting Couch video:
Beasley deleted the tweet almost immediately. But someone took a screenshot of it and, before long, it started spreading on Twitter. And it led to Beasley stating the obvious on Twitter:
Whoops is right. Let this be a lesson to everyone: Don't watch porn Double-check your links before you press "Tweet."
