Adrien Broner wants Jay Z and Rihanna to know that he's really, really sorry about what he said about them during an interview with TMZ Sports late last week. And Floyd Mayweather may be the man behind the apology that Broner issued to them over the weekend.

During the interview with TMZ Sports, Broner revealed that Jay Z recently offered him a five-year, $40 million deal to sign with Roc Nation Sports. However, he also revealed that Jay Z made him the offer through one of his associates rather than contacting him directly. So Broner told TMZ Sports that he rejected the offer and went on to say that Jay Z could "suck my d*ck" with regards to the potential deal. But he didn't stop there. He also took a shot at Rihanna after someone pointed out that signing with Roc Nation Sports would bring Broner one step closer to her.

"Man, fuck Rihanna," he said. "No disrespect. At the end of the day, she gonna give me some p*ssy and that's it."

Broner is singing a much different tune now, though. After speaking with someone that he describes as his "big homie" (Mayweather?) this weekend—"somebody that I respect," he says in the clip at the top of this post, "somebody that I look up to"—Broner issued a formal apology to Jay and Rih-Rih and tried to take back what he said about both of them.

"I was caught up in the moment," he says in his apology, "and I wanna apologize to Jay for that. I'm a man at the end of the day, and I'm wrong and I can admit when I'm wrong…I never should've said 'Forget Rihanna.' I said it in a more explicit way, but I just wanna say I'm wrong to the public. I'm sorry and if Jay wanna talk to me, you can get in touch with me and holla at me, we'll talk about it. I just had to get it off my chest."

Are you buying Broner's apology? And do you think Money Mayweather was the one who told him to make it? Let us know after you're done watching Broner's apologetic video.
