Tonight, the Celtics said, "Why not us?" Boston didn't become the first team to beat the Warriors this season, but they came very damn close before dropping the game 124-119 in double overtime.
The Warriors were without three of their pillars: Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes and the consistent jump shot. Thompson and Barnes sat out tonight with ankle injuries, and it did not help that Golden State shot just 39 percent from the field. Steph Curry was also a bit off his game; he scored 38 points but shot 9-for-27. Despite their shortcomings, the Warriors were able to keep it close throughout the game. Curry tied it with a clutch three with under a minute left in regulation.
The Celtics nearly won through KellyOlynyk's heroics. He scored key baskets in overtime and finished with 28 points off the bench. On the other end Draymond Green definitely stepped up with his 24 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists, five blocks, and five steals.

The Warriors have one more game on their seven-game road trip. On Saturday, they face the Bucks before their five-game home stand.
