The World Cup started with a screw-up when Marcelo of Brazil scored an own goal to put his team down. Although he probably would want to chill with those in the future, Marcelo got cut some slack when Brazil beat Croatia 3-1.

Spain's defense got plowed by the Netherlands this afternoon. The country allowed four goals at the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 Euros combined, but it allowed five goals as the Netherlands made light work of them.
