John Cena, wrestler/former hottest rapper in the game, is part of the ongoing promotional run behind Trainwreck. This is a publicity run involving a performing athlete, a comedy film, and a basketball player trying out acting for the first time. Of course, some ridiculousness is going to occur.
This time, it's Cena "challenging" LeBron James to a wrestling match in an interview with People. The noteworthy part isn't just the challenge, but the fantastically juvenile insults he throws at James. They include:
- "It sounds like you're parading around with two first names, like my name is Stan Mike."
- "I'm gonna dribble his face into the canvas as if it was a Spalding basketball."
- "I'm gonna rip your spine off your back and perform a double tomahawk jam."
Cena is a national treasure simply because he never breaks character.
