Another one.

Add another record to the list of those Stephen Curry has shattered during this unbelievable season: he has set the NBAStore.com mark for the best single-season sales by a player ever. Sales of Curry-related merchandise rose 250 percent over last year.

Largely due to Curry (and the impending retirement of Kobe Bryant), the NBA had a record year as well. NBAStore.com sales were up 16 percent from last year, and the league also broke its records for attendance (an average of 17,864 fans per game), sellouts (723), and average arena capacity (94 percent).

Curry averaged 30.1 points, 6.7 assists. 5.4 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game in only 34.2 minutes per game – of course, because he wound up on the bench for the fourth quarter of many games. He didn’t just break his own record for three-pointers made in a single season, he shattered it, amassing 402 to top last year’s 286.

The announcement of his second consecutive MVP award should come in only a couple weeks.
