NBA fans were either fired up or frustrated with Monday's announcement that DeMarcus Cousins is signing with the Golden State Warriors. It will be fun to watch the Warriors, who should be an all-time great team, of course—but at what cost? Next year's title seems practically guaranteed to go to Golden State.

After Boogie's decision hit the internet, fans vented in the direction of league commissioner Adam Silver, who apparently isn't trying all that hard to maintain parity and seems to be allowing the Warriors to rack up all the league's best players. Many joked about Silver actually being a member of the Warriors himself.

Sixers: Lose in order to acquire talent and build a roster through the draft

Adam Silver: No this an embarrassment to the league

Warriors: Sign every star that they can by circumventing the league's salary cap

Adam Silver: This is fine.
Congratulations Adam Silver, you ruined the NBA. There is no point to watch next season, fans won’t bother watching, the eastern conference is irrelevant, and a team now has 5 all stars. Great job

The Warriors were already heavy title favorites, but now their odds have gotten even stronger, improving to -150.
