Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has earned his spot in the Toronto Raptors' rotation this season with his relentless grit and knack for chasing down loose balls. So it should come as no surprise that he puts that same amount of hustle into hunting down loose pocketbooks.

Early Saturday morning, the day after his 10-point, four-rebound performance in the Raptors' win over the Phoenix Suns, Hollis-Jefferson hit up Twitter with the most relatable of requests: he left his wallet in an Uber, and needed Toronto's help.

Lost my wallet in a Uber Thursday.. if anyone in Toronto found it pls return it.. i just want the wallet.. all sweatpants should have a zipper lol

Naturally, the denizens of Tweetsville went a bit bonkers with this. Canadian casual wear brand Roots even got involved, pouncing on the potential viral marketing op.

We’ve got you covered. Our Park Slim Sweatpant and City Pant have zipper pockets. DM us your size and shipping info.

Uber, however, proved itself to be considerably less hip with the millennials, responding to @'s asking the ride-hailing company for help with what appeared to be canned auto-replies.

Here to help, @genghiscochrane. Please send us a DM with the phone number associated with your account as well as more information regarding your concern, so we can assist you further.

Later in the day, Hustle Man Chap provided an update, saying his Uber driver couldn't find the wallet. He also gave some details on exactly what kind of wallet we're talking about here.

Just a casual Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite Canvas wallet. Nothing crazy. They only retail for a cool $900 CAD or so. Seriously, though, props to Hollis-Jefferson for including the price in the screenshot of the wallet. Hell of a flex, my guy.

All ribbing aside, we hope the wallet gets returned to Rondae. Not only for his own peace of mind, but for the safety of whoever might have swiped it. We know how scary the man gets when someone takes his toque, let alone credit card and driver's license. Watch out.

LMAOOOOOO RONDAE WAS GON KILL NORMAN POWELL FOR TAKING HIS HAT OFF. This the funniest NBA related vid I seen in a minute 😂😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/JAnDcysbe2
