5 NFL Teams That Should Try to Sign Antonio Brown

From the Dallas Cowboys to the New England Patriots, here are five teams that would probably sign Antonio Brown if he left the Raiders.

The Antonio Brown saga in Oakland is truly one of the most bizarre NFL stories we've ever seen. From burning his feet in a cryotherapy machine to almost retiring over a helmet, AB's tenure with the Raiders has been a true rollercoaster. With the Raiders releasing him, the saga might just be getting underway with AB becoming a free agent. 

Even though it looked like Brown would suit up for the Raiders this season, he will now never play a game for the team. Someone will sign him. It's the NFL, everyone gets a second chance and players have come back to play after doing way worse than this AB stuff.

The contract stuff is pretty complicated and AB could always fight back on them taking away his guaranteed money. This is far from over and will likely only get messier as we go. 

With the season really getting underway tomorrow, the Complex Sports squad picked out five teams that would definitely try to sign AB now that he is a free agent. 

Dallas Cowboys

Anyone who thinks the Cowboys wouldn't try and sign AB is out of their mind. It's the Cowboys. It's Jerry Jones. There's no way they wouldn't be interested. AB could be the next great Cowboys WR. Book it. 

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs aren't afraid to take chances, and let's be real, they just gave Tyreek Hill a contract extension. They'd likely have no issue adding AB to their squad. On the field, adding AB to the best offense in football would be wild. 

Chicago Bears

The Bears offense needs some more playmakers, as we saw on Thursday night when they could barely move the ball against the Packers. Would they take the risk on adding AB? Well, they already have one star who used to play for the Raiders in Khalil Mack, so why not add another? 

Washington Redskins

This actually makes way too much sense. The Redskins are known for throwing big contracts at troubled stars, so there's no way they wouldn't be interested in AB. Would it work? That is the question, but if they were able to get AB on the field, he would surely help an offense that needs more playmakers. 

New England Patriots

We're all thinking about it. We're all scared of it. If anyone could get AB to buy in and put all the drama to the side it's Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots. There's no doubt in my mind that if AB went to the Pats he would immediately fit in and put up godly numbers with Brady. That's just how it works for the Pats.
