Antonio Brown is going to see a foot specialist, according to Oakland Raiders reporter Vic Tafur. The wide receiver left the team's first practice of training camp with an apparent injury to his foot and hasn't returned.

While Raiders fans are no doubt worried about Brown's continued absence, quarterback Derek Carr thinks that Brown will be ready to play by the time the season comes around and that their chemistry will be fine.

Carr worked out with Antonio Brown so much this offseason that he is not worried about Brown missing early camp practices. They have “the meat and potatoes down, just have to keep perfecting the details.”

Other reporters say the tension is mounting around the Raiders and the loss of the All-Star receiver. Las Vegas Review-Journal's Michael Gehlken said that both sides are crossing their fingers.

Frustration is gradually building on WR Antonio Brown situation. Brown eager to return. Raiders eager to have him back. But visiting foot specialist today to learn more, source confirmed. (As @VicTafur reported.) Brown has missed 6 of 7 practices and yet to have full session.

Gruden said a bit of that out loud in an interview following practice on Friday, revealing that the team is waiting for Brown's return.

“I think we’re all disappointed,” Gruden said. “We want to get the party started.”
