Kevin Durant has been putting up some great numbers for the Golden State Warriors recently, but that hasn't stopped the rumors about him moving on. ESPN reports that a large number of both his current and former teammates believe he's heading to the New York Knicks come July. An anonymous agent, meanwhile, said, "Just a matter of putting pen to paper."

While it might seem strange for KD to abandon the Warriors when he's doing so well with them, some executives have indicated that signing with the Knicks could allow him to move past the notion that he jumped on a bandwagon of sorts upon joining the team. "Winning there would change the narrative around him," one executive explained.

It's not clear which of his teammates think Durant is gearing up to moving on, but where there's smoke there's almost certainly fire.

KD has previously indicated that he's not made up his mind about his future in the league just yet, although there's clearly plenty of options for the small forward. Earlier this month, Bleacher Report's Ric Bucher said Durant going to the Knicks was pretty much a "done" deal. "From everything I've heard, it's done," he said. "Yes, he's leaving... If he so much as gets [the Knicks] into the Conference Finals, he will be beloved there like he never has been at Golden State after 2 Championships."
