The Raptors traveled to San Antonio to face the Spurs in their first matchup since the Kawhi Leonard-DeMar DeRozan trade, and fans made it clear that they did not support Leonard's post-Gregg Popovich endeavors. San Antonio fans booed their former star as soon as he was introduced and did not show him much love as the game progressed. (Danny Green, who was also traded to Toronto, was cool, though; the crowd showered him with applause.)

Leonard's mother Kim was in attendance to hear the jeers. She couldn't have expected warmth, but one particular Spurs fan tested her enough for her to fire back. Though the comment that set her off isn't heard, Kim is seen clearly pissed as she shouts "asshole" across an exit to a fan. The apparent offender looks surprised about a mother redirecting the negative energy directed at her son back to him.

There wasn't complete animosity between Spurs and Leonard, though. Popovich was seen embracing Leonard after the game and told reporters that he "felt baldly" about him getting booed. But he probably did feel good about winning. San Antonio won 125-107 as DeRozan posted his first career triple-double: 21 points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists.
