Following the New Orleans Saints playoff victory over the Philadelphia Eagles' on Tuesday, one Philly fan took the defeat quite personally.

According to local police, 31-year-old Kirsten Gaskins was upset about her team's loss when she allegedly assaulted her girlfriend and put the victim's dog in the microwave. At the Best Western hotel in Hanover Township, Gaskins was arrested on charges of assault, harrassment, cruelty to animals, and drug paraphernalia.

Gaskins was allegedly drinking while watching the Eagles game at the hotel when she became gradually angered by her team's setbacks. After Gaskins began yelling, the victim claims that her girlfriend then started pushing her, knocking her to the ground. According to the victim's statement, Gaskins got on top of her and hit her in the face repeatedly. The woman was then able to scratch Gaskins' face in order to get away. After rising to her feet, Gaskins threatened her by saying if she left the room she would kill her dog.

By the time the police had arrived, Gaskins had fled the hotel. However, while authorities were speaking to the victim, Gaskins returned to the hotel room and told her girlfriend to collect her things because the two were leaving. The assailant refused to talk to police before being taken into custody. While Gaskins was being detained, officers found a weed grinder in her pocket.

Authorities then searched the hotel room where they found a small white Pomeranian inside the microwave. Thankfully, it seemed to be unharmed, Philadelphia's FOX29 reports.

During a phone call with NBC Philadelphia, Gaskins denied that the altercation had to do with the Philadelphia game and claimed that she never harmed the dog. Gaskins was arraigned by District Judge Robert Hawke and released on $20,000 bail.
