Jemele Hill Officially Announces ESPN Exit: 'I'm Proud of Everything We Did'

Jemele Hill, who received backlash from Trump cult members for accurately calling him a white supremacist earlier this year, has now announced that she will be leaving ESPN.

Jemele Hill, who once understandably referred to the neo-Nazi-sympathizer-in-chief as a white supremacist, has officially announced her departure from ESPN.

In a statement shared via social media Friday morning, Hill noted "there have been a lot of rumors" about her relationship with the company. Hill also specifically shouted out her former co-host Michael Smith. "I'm proud of everything we did, because nobody sold tapes out the trunk quite like us," she said. See the full statement below.

Over the last several weeks, there have been a lot of rumors about my job status. Today is my last day at ESPN.

As for the trolls who have already taken this opportunity to slam Hill, Hill no longer has to worry about avoiding profanity and related sentence-enhancers when responding:

I feel like i need to say this now as a warning. I was going out of my way not to cuss some of y’all out because I had a job and a corporation to represent. But now, I don’t have one. So I’m good with calling you a fuckboi. https://t.co/38gloPN4zw

Last October, Hill called Trump a "white supremacist that has largely surrounded himself [with] other white supremacists." Trump, however, actually spent supposedly presidential time responding to Hill in tweets of his own.
