For the final day of 2016 (yes!), we can say goodbye to this diabolical year that has brought so much destruction and sorrow to so many hearts and minds across the world. But not everyone felt like they had the grey clouds following over their every waking minute in 2016. Especially if they're mega stars sitting on top of the world like none other than LeBron James.

On Saturday, James posted a picture worth 1000 words on his IG account, the Honey Bun Baby meme, to describe the best year of his career. This meme is definitive of being the mischievous one to "run off with the last piece of sweet potato pie." In LeBron's case, this aptly applies because he really had no public moments of despair or immense losses that he suffered. He put the caption with the meme, "I've been hearing a lot of people talking about how bad 2016 was, meanwhile I've been like this the whole time! From start to finish. Hahahaha!! 😊😊😊😊😊 #TheKidFromAkron👑#StriveForGreatness🚀#ThankYou2016"

LeBron made history when he carried the Cavaliers from a 3-1 deficit to win the NBA Finals back in June, Cleveland's first pro sports championship in over 50 years, and got NBA Finals MVP honors. Also, he won his second Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year honors, and was named Associated Press Athlete of the Year earlier this month. What more could go right for this guy?

You really can't blame him for feeling that way, though. It's still LeBron's World.
