NFL cheerleader Cherise Sandra posted a photo on Instagram earlier this week that went viral almost instantly. It featured her crouching down on a cement patio next to her name scribbled in spray paint, and according to her, that patio belonged to none other than Klay Thompson. The IG caption that she included with the photo said, “You & Me baby. Sorry my names tagged on your patio @klaythompson,” which obviously led most people to believe that she was either dating Thompson or, at the very least, trying to date the Warriors star. But as it turns out, that’s not the case.
Cherise deleted her photo from IG on Wednesday, and TMZ Sportstracked down a representative for Thompson to get an explanation as to why the photo existed in the first place. According to the rep, the photo was taken on Thompson’s property, but Thompson denies that he’s dating Cherise right now. The rep told TMZ Sports she was simply at a party at his home recently, at which time he allowed her to spray paint the patio since he’s having it renovated soon.
"They aren’t dating at all," the rep said. "The first time they met was that day. She was a guest of a guest, that’s it."
Thompson might not be dating Cherise, but it does look like he had fun with her and the other girls who showed up at his place to party. In addition to speaking with his rep, TMZ Sports also obtained video of Thompson letting loose at his house (in his Team USA jersey, no less!). The video also features a short clip of Cherise tagging his patio up. You can watch here:
This isn’t the first time gossip about Thompson’s love life has generated headlines. Back in October 2015, his then-girlfriend Hannah Stocking accused him of sleeping with a groupie on Twitter, and he was also once rumored to be dating Chris Brown’s ex Karrueche Tran. When you’re one of the NBA’s most eligible bachelors, this kind of stuff sort of just comes with the territory. We just hope he’s able to get that patio renovated quickly.
