While the WWE is in a rut when it comes to healthy, money-drawing superstars, an announcement from The Rock could turn plans for WrestleMania around in the blink of an eye.

Out of nowhere, The Rock posted the above video on Instagram, announcing that he'll be appearing at WrestleMania 32 in Arlington, Texas on April 3, 2016, which the WWE has confirmed.

"IT'S OFFICIAL: People's Champ is coming home to do 3 things with THE PEOPLE: Set an ALL-TIME attendance record, ELECTRIFY Dallas like never before & make all time #WRESTLEMANIA. And we have FUN. Ok that's four things but you know what the hell The Rock's sayin'.. . THANK YOU#WWEUniverse! It's always an honor coming home and I wouldn't miss it for the world."

The real question, though—what the hell is The Rock going to do? While it could be as little as the WrestleMania 30 appearance between he, Hulk Hogan, and Steve Austin to open the show (or his return at WrestleMania 31 with Ronda Rousey)...it could also be as big as the long-rumored match between he and Triple H.

We'll keep you posted with any further updates to this developing story.
