It’s been almost a month now since Ronda Rouseylost to Holly Holm at UFC 193. And while we finally got our first post-fight glimpse of her last weekend thanks to a photo that her mother put on Instagram, Rousey hasn’t talked about the crushing defeat. Until now.

Rousey is set to appear on the new cover of ESPN The Magazine this Friday, and she spoke with The Mag about her loss to Holm and admitted that she’s “really f—— sad” about it. She’s also apparently still dealing with a busted lip and seems to be having some issues with several of her teeth, which will prevent her from fighting anytime soon.

“It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple,” she said, “let alone take an impact.”

But it doesn’t sound like Rousey is ready to call it quits just yet. It's unclear if she specifically addressed the idea of a rematch with Holm, but she’s going to be back in the Octagon eventually.

“Maybe I can’t do it all before my prime, before my body is done,” she said. “But f— it, maybe I can.”

We’re sure there will be more details in the ESPN The Mag story. We’ll be sure to provide you with them when they’re available.
