Kobe Bryant has never lacked confidence, although his latest bit of bravado may be difficult for even his most ardent fans to swallow.

The Lakers are trash this season, due to a combination of bad coaching, odd roster construction, and Bryant taking the bulk of his team's shots while making them at an extremely low percentage. L.A. is 2-11 thus far, and sits at the bottom of the Western Conference standings, with little hope of turning things around.

The Golden State Warriors, meanwhile, are in the midst of another insanely great season. They're off to a 15-0 start, which is tied for the best in NBA history,  and seem almost unstoppable offensively thanks in large part to Stephen Curry being consistently ridiculous.

So, what can we expect when L.A. heads to Oakland to face the Warriors on Tuesday? According to Bryant, a Lakers victory isn't completely out of the question.

"I've seen stranger things happen," Bryant said Sunday after his team's 107-93 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers at Staples Center. "We've been playing like s---. We might go up there and we might play like gangbusters up there. You never know. "

Scott is taking the more realistic approach here, and maybe Bryant is simply trying to motivate his teammates not to concede the game before it's even played. Still, the Warriors have already beaten a team by 50 points this season, and it fells like they could do the same to the Lakers if they cared to play as hard as possible for 48 minutes.
