As we’ve already seen once today, sports fans give zero fucks when it comes to taking shots at athletes on their Instagram pages, even when their posts involve their kids. NFL fans went off on Sammy Watkins in the comments section of an IG photo featuring him and his daughter at Disney World (Disney World!) and basically forced him to issue a response that he would later regret. And now, we have yet another example of this happening.
Last night, Matt Barnes posted a video of his sons playing basketball on his IG. Innocent enough, right?
Right. But one fan troll took it upon himself to make a terrible comment about Barnes' recent rift with Derek, er, “Derrick” Fisher next to the video:
We suspect Barnes receives comments like this all the time, but he decided to respond to this one. He put the troll in his place by sending this back at him:
Barnes probably should have just ignored the guy. But much like with Watkins, we can’t really blame him for getting pissed off about someone coming in and posting nonsense next to a video of his kids.
