Lisa Leslie Is Open to Coaching in the NBA, Thinks She Can Help the Clippers "Immediately"

What do you say, Doc?

Hey Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers, do you think DeAndre Jordan could use some work on his post game? Or maybe Blake Griffin could fine-tune his footwork when backing down a defender? Why don't you give Lisa Leslie a call?

During an appearance on Larry King Now, Leslie was asked about the possibility of becoming an NBA coach. “I could coach," she said. "I haven’t had the desire to coach because I have little kids but I would never say never that’s definitely something I’m totally capable of doing in the NBA." While the three-time WNBA MVP and two-time WNBA champion would prefer to be a part of the Lakers organization, she wouldn't turn down an opportunity to help their rivals, the Clippers.

I definitely think that I have some knowledge of the game that would definitely help their (Clippers) post game, post players, footwork, and how to defend offensively and defensively. For sure, I could help that team immediately.”

Doc, you saw what Becky Hammondid with the Spurs this year, right? Maybe you should see just how interested Lisa is in this coaching thing. Just sayin'.
