While free agency was sending everybody in a panic, Ty Lawson had some personal issues to deal with his own. The 27-year-old guard was arrested for DUI last Tuesday in Los Angeles. He was arrested for the same thing in January.

Lawson won't face charges if he completes a 30-day rehab treatment program. His lawyer Harvey Steinberg said he'll complete the program at California's Cliffside Malibu.

The rehab stay doesn't only have legal repercussions. The league knows about his alcohol issues, and it's hampered the Nuggets from dealing him in a trade. Lawson could be waived and jobless if he doesn't fix his personal issues. Hopefully things work out for the best.
