WWE Might Be Planning a Ronda Rousey/Stephanie McMahon Match for WrestleMania 32

Is the WWE already planning a Ronda Rousey/Stephanie McMahon match for WrestleMania 32?

When Ronda Rousey showed up at WrestleMania 32 last week, it wasn't necessarily a huge surprise. Rousey had been promoting her appearance in Furious 7 for several weeks and was in the news almost every day, so she didn't exactly come out of nowhere when she joined The Rock and got into it with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. But according to WWE sources who spoke with Dave Metzler of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter over the weekend, the WWE might have a surprise involving Rousey up their sleeves when next year's WrestleMania rolls around.

WrestleMania 32 is obviously still about a year away. But Metzler is reporting that WWE might be interested in putting together a singles match pitting Rousey against McMahon in 2016. There are a bunch of hurdles they'd have to jump through first. For example, Dana White has shot down the idea of UFC fighters taking part in WWE matches in the past, mostly notably in 2011 when he wouldn't let Brock Lesnar fight The Undertaker. But at the very least, the idea of a Rousey/McMahon fight has been floated out there. So it could take place.

As we mentioned, there are a lot of things that could happen between now and next April. Who knows? Maybe Rousey will lose an MMA match before WrestleMania 32 ever takes place (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA). But for now, Rousey/McMahon is an idea. And if it comes together? It could result in something pretty crazy.
