Russell Westbrook has been tough to stop this season. But late yesterday, the NBA finally found a way to do it when they took his 10th triple-double of the year and turned it into a double-double.

On Sunday afternoon against the Heat, Westbrook recorded 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 17 assists, giving him his 10th triple-double of the season. But on Monday, the NBA revealed that Westbrook was given credit for a rebound that should have gone to someone else. So they knocked his official stat line down to 12 points, nine rebounds, and 17 assists, leaving him one rebound shy of a triple-double.

Does any of this really matter in the grand scheme of things? No. The Thunder still won on Sunday and something tells us that Westbrook will find a way to get his 10th triple-double back. But the fact that an official scoring review is the only way that anyone has been able to slow Westbrook down proves just how dominant he has been this season.
