Richard Sherman might have to make a very difficult decision prior to the start of Super XLIX on Sunday. And it has absolutely nothing to do with the game of football.
Sherman's girlfriend Ashley Moss is pregnant right now and due to give birth any day. And while doctors have told Sherman and Moss that the baby probably won't be born before the Super Bowl, there's obviously a chance that Moss could go into labor in the days leading up to the big game or even on Super Bowl Sunday. If she does, Sherman is unsure of what he'll do. But there's a chance that he could skip the Super Bowl to be with Moss, who is in Arizona for the game.
"We'll cross that bridge when we get there," he told reporters yesterday. "We're not thinking about the possibility."
It could happen, though. And if Moss goes into labor on the day of the Super Bowl, it'll be interesting to see what Sherman does.
