Last night, the Cleveland Cavaliers took over Twitter by trading Dion Waiters to the Oklahoma City Thunder and acquiring J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert from the Knicks, as part of a three-team deal.
After that deal was announced, Cleveland-without Kyrie Irving and LeBron James-fell to the lowly Philadelphia 76ers, 95-92. This was Philly’s first home win of the season, and rookie first-rounder Joel Embiid wasn’t going to spurn the opportunity to take a little shot at LeBron on Twitter after the game.
You may recall Embiid’s attempts to sway LeBron in the summer, which didn’t work then and won’t work no…hey you never know with King James.
