At some point this season, Ray Allen is probably going to be back on the court for an NBA team. And that team is believed to be the Cavaliers. Allen wants to win one more ring before he retires for good, and Cleveland seems like it'd be a pretty good place for him to try and do it. But according to reports out of the Bay Area, the Cavs aren't the only team interested in signing Allen this season.

Yesterday afternoon, Warriors general manager Bob Myers did an interview with radio station 95.7 The Game and admitted that Golden State has reached out to Allen to see if he would be interested in running with the Warriors this season. A deal between Allen and the Warriors is not imminent. But at the very least, Myers said the Warriors—who, at 19-2, have the best record in the NBA right now—are interested in signing him, even though it doesn't sound like Allen knows what he wants to do just yet.

"It's uncertain as to what Ray wants to do," Myers said.

Myers also said that, even if Allen does want to play for the Warriors, he's unsure if Golden State would be able to accommodate him.

"Here's the problem," he said, "We don't have enough minutes as it is, so it's just a question of chemistry."

Myers is right, too. Having Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Ray Allen at your disposal seems like a problem most NBA teams would love to have. But Golden State has so much talent on their roster at the guard position that it'd probably be tough for Allen to get many minutes with the Warriors.

Even still, this is a situation worth watching. Because while it seems like Allen is destined to land in Cleveland, there are definitely going to be some other teams out there interested in trying to sign him.
