Drunk people do dumb things. But a drunk Steelers fan took "dumb" to a whole new level last night during his team's game against the Ravens.

At one point during the game, 29-year-old Stephen Sapp was asked to leave Heinz Field because he had had too much to drink. But he refused to go quietly. Instead, he kicked a steel barrier located near the exit of the stadium, accidentally causing the barrier to come off the ground and hit a woman who was standing nearby in the head. It knocked her unconscious and Sapp was arrested a short time later and charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

It wasn't the only dumb move that Sapp made, though. While he was being handcuffed, he tried to escape from police custody. And then, to make matters even worse than they already were, Sapp tried to bribe the officers who arrested him.

"Listen, I know how this works," he allegedly told them. "How much money will it take to make this go away and to let me go home today?"

And as if all that wasn't bad enough, he also identified himself as an IRS employee to the police and offered free tax assistance in exchange for his freedom.

"I am an IRS agent," he said, "and I can help you in other ways if you let me go home and make this go away."

Something tells us the guy isn't an IRS agent. But if he is? Well, there's a good chance he won't be one soon. What a dumb series of moves on his part.
