During a must-win Game 6 of the 2004 ALCS against the New York Yankees, Curt Schilling pitched (and limped) his way through an inspiring seven-inning, one-run performance which became even more impressive by the hurler's ability to focus with a severe ankle injury that resulted in blood seeping onto his sock. While the moment forever placed Schilling into Red Sox lore for his heroic feat, there were a good amount of people out there who think he painted his sock or smeared ketchup on the area.

Even though the issue has been settled for the most part, Schilling has a picture to share with those that have stayed strong to the belief that he has tricked the masses.
