Last night, the Suns manhandled the Spurs in a preseason game in Phoenix. But it wasn't exactly a fair fight. The Spurs didn't play Tim Duncan, Manu Ginoboli, Kawhi Leonard, Patty Mills, or Tiago Splitter. And their head coach Gregg Popovich didn't even bother to make the trip to Phoenix! It amounted to a laughably bad performance by the Spurs, who lost 121-90 to the Suns.

Suns managing partner Robert Sarver recognized just how bad the game was and felt the need to apologize to Phoenix fans for it. So late in the game, Sarver grabbed a mic and addressed the crowd. He apologized for the product that was out on the floor—and told fans that he plans on making it up to them.

"This is not the game you paid your hard-earned money to watch," he said. "I apologize for it. And I want you to send me your tickets if you came tonight with a return envelope and I've got a gift for you on behalf of the Suns for showing up tonight. Thank you."

You can watch Sarver address the crowd in the clip above. Shots fired at the Spurs?
