Why Did This Kid Try to Stop a Former NBA Slam Dunk Contest Champion From Dunking on Him? (Video)

This kid got posterized after he tried to block Jeremy Evans.

Yesterday, the Jazz held a Jr. Jazz clinic in Green River, Utah. One of the players on hand for the event was Jazz forward Jeremy Evans, who won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest back in 2012. And he made at least one kid regret even showing up for the event.

We don't know why he did it. But the kid—who comes into the picture late in the video above—decided that he was going to try and stop Evans from dunking. And while Evans isn't exactly the second coming of Karl Malone, he is: A) An NBA player, and B) A former dunk champ. So the kid ended up getting posterized by him.

Watch the clip to see Evans dunk all over him. What in the world was the kid thinking?! Sigh. It's been a tough week for kids trying to play against NBA players.
