As USA Basketball prepares for the 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain later this month, Coach K. will be tasked with narrowing down his team to a final 12-man roster. On Monday, the 5x ACC Coach of the Year trimmed his squad down to 16 players by releasing John Wall, Bradley Beal, and Paul Millsap. Almost immediately, the Internet came to Wall's defense with the most heated commentary coming from Kentucky Wildcat Nation. Based god help Mike Krzyzewski if DeMarcus Cousins gets the boot too.
Coach K still mad that North Carolina born John Wall left and started the trend of making Kentucky the best basketball school in the world

Coach K: Wall and Beal, can you flop? Wall and Beal: Nope. Coach K: I’m going with Plumlee

USA Basketball to cut John Wall. I think it's time to cut Coach K. Keeping Mason Plumlee over John Wall is the most messed up thing ever.

First, Plumlee over Cousins & now John Wall gets cut. If your goal is to make UK fans hate you even more, then great job Coach K!

Coach k cut John wall.. The best pg on that roster, it's no wonder why he can't ever make it past the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament
