Were you looking forward to seeing the rematch between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson in UFC 178? Yeah...about that...it's not going to happen. Just one day after the fight was announced, Gustafsson has been forced to pull out of the match after sustaining a knee injury. Instead, Jones will now take on Daniel Cormier, who improved to 15-0-0 after defeating Dan Henderson via submission in late May.
While Cormier definitely deserves his shot at the light heavyweight title, this news still probably doesn't sit well with UFC fans who have been patiently waiting to see Bones and The Mauler square off once again after their epic bout 10 months ago.
