I'm currently enjoying the first of two snow days at Mizzou, so I've already seen plenty of dicks drawn on snow-covered cars. What I haven't seen, however, is a 200-pound wooden dick chained on the roof of someone's car. That's the type of thing that only happens in Russia.
Prominent Vladimir Putin critic Katya Romanovskay came out to her BMW 3-Series last week to find the phallic decoration. Police were so amused by the situation they laughed and took pictures instead of doing, you know, police stuff. Eventually Romanovskay and her co-author brought the giant wiener into their apartment, where they're currently trying to figure out what to do with it.
Surprisingly this isn't the most bizarre part of the story. It's believed that a state-backed, Pro-Putin gang of youths is behind the incident. The same group once used a prostitute named "Mumu" to lure members of the opposition into a bugged apartment.
Fucking Russia.
