Ray Allen said, "Tim Thomas could be the best player in the league." I watched Thomas play in high school and it gives me chills just thinking about the way he used to dominate at Paterson Catholic. Then he went to Villanova where he showed that he wasn't just a big man. Tim brought the ball up, shot well from all over the court, and was athletic, all of which helped him be the Big East and Sporting News Freshman of the Year. He had a lot of promise coming into his NBA career, but the money must've made him complacent. With undeniable All-Star talent, Thomas never made an All-Star team and towards the end of his career he became happy with just shooting threes instead of using his athleticism.
